I legitimately kind of hate it, but.

SketchKnight responds:

lol why?

Nice composition, funny little theme... I like the hand holding the cigar! Is his finger severed? Pretty cool.

vWito responds:

Yea! When i was originally designing Orca i just didn't feel like drawing his pinky finger so i just took it away. Ended up keeping that as a little detail on the character!

This one is pretty good... Simple but striking, clean palette... That's easy enough to do, right? But the dynamic pose and stuff, everything looks like it's where it should be. Very fun. Great outline accent too.

JettBomber responds:

Thanks! I understand the feedback tho

Very well-composed... Great use of the palette to create striking imagery. Looks like pretty decent use of brushes too, to add a bit of grit in the right places. Very nicely done.

JonathanPT responds:

Thank you! I'm really happy with it. Hoping to try and do another Jesus painting before Easter. We will see.

Saw your Art Forum post. Pretty interesting colouring... Almost everything looks like glossy plastic, she'd contaminate both poles haha. The pearls in the ears and the hair look particularly good, though it's a bit odd how the jorts look textured like cloth while the hair looks like plastic. Pretty fun stuff though, I like it. You should definitely post more.

KaySketchUp responds:

Thank you, the jorts were a choice. I do have more work to do though coming up lol. I have quite the history with art as of the past few years and will post more. I run 2 accounts just one under this alias and the other is for a different type of crowd.

Very cool! I like this a lot. The expression combined with the gritty etching gives a very distinct feeling. Nice use of murky tones, too. Very fun image, nice job.

dogmuth-behedog responds:

Thank you. :D!

Yup. Nothing new here. Nothing out of the ordinary. No intense, striking palettes of warm yet gross tones. No horrors beyond human scientific comprehension being warped, shaped, reformed, and perversely baring their inner organs to the world with an expression of fear for their lives. No-sir-ee! Just plain, normal, Mario World fanart! God, I sure love video games, don't you friend?

SquidSacksArt responds:

I'm gonna be honest, I don't really play video games all that much these days. I have to wonder, what the heck from Mario is at all comparable to this? Haha

Haha, definitely its own thing! Hope it scored well? You should do an actual package sampler.

BeetleCandy responds:

Yeah it did well, I wanted to make a prototype trilobite toy out of polymer clay but it was optional and finals were rough at the time… maybe I’ll revisit that idea!

It's not so bad, the motif is clear and it has some nice details like the reflection in the water. Palette is decent too, even if the textured brushes are a bit much. Interesting, and yes, failure can be more informative than success. Would work pretty well as a background with something else as a focal point.

PannoCatto responds:

thanks for the insight! i agree that the foreground definitively lacks something to act as a focal point, the shapes aren't interesting by themselves. i'll try to think more about the composition next time instead of doing a mindless study.

Very fun! Great lines and details, very energetic. Lovely palette. Superb.

Kamikaye responds:

Thanks a lot ! :) Testing a new paper here
